How to use EasyConnect to configure ports for ISTA
This article shows you how to use EasyConnect software to configure the diagnostic port for BMW Rheingold ISTA.
Prepare:
Latest BMW ICOM Software Free Download
procedure:
If your interface is OBD cable configuration as below
Type: STD
Mode:OBD
If you use the ICOM interface, please configure as follows:
Type:Remote
IP address set from iTool Radar
Mode: OPPS BASE
After configuration is complete, click the “Check” button
If it shows the voltage value as shown below, it means the port configuration is successful.
Note
Mode–OPPS_MOST_ASYNC:
This option is applicable for programming media system units CIC, CCC… via fiber optic cable
